Three City-Owned Lakes located adjacent to the city, filled with recreational opportunities and attractive home sites. Several campsites and a bird sanctuary are highlights of East Fork Lake.

Recreational Facilities at Olney parks have been upgraded with the addition of a newcommunity pool with waterslide and the first fields dedicated solely for soccer. Play keeps going even when the sun goes down with lighted tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, several baseball diamonds and a playground.

The Olney City Park is the location for several special events during the year, including the 100,000-light Christmas Light Display, the Richland County Fair and the Olney Arts Council Fall Festival.
