The Richland Country Club
			An 18-hole golf course that ranks among the finest in Southeast Illinois. The semi-private club also has a pool, tennis courts and clubhouse.
			Red Hills State Park
			Located 12 miles east of Olney, providing hiking, hunting, fishing and horseback riding over 947 acres that include a 40-acre lake.
			Three City-Owned Lakes
			Located adjacent to the city, filled with recreational opportunities and attractive home sites. Several campsites and a bird sanctuary are highlights of East Fork Lake. Eastfork, Borah and Vernor lakes together cover more than 1,100 acres. Several other lakes are located in neighboring countries.
			Recreational Facilities
			Olney parks have been upgraded with the recent addition of a new community pool with a waterslide and the first fields dedicated solely for soccer. Playtime keeps going even when the sun goes down with lighted tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, several baseball diamonds and a playground.

			The location for several special events during the year, including the 100,000-light Christmas Light Display, the Richland County Fair and the Olney Arts Council Fall Festival.
